Happy Valentine’s Day!

For years, I was jaded regarding celebrating Valentine’s Day. My attitude changed when I started dating Cory. The first year we were together. I went all out on the romantic aspect of the holiday. Our second year together, Cory went crazy with the Valentine’s gifts. I received flowers, a stuffed sheltie, and bath products. Then last year, we went to the Grand Lodge on the weekend and just chilled on the actual day. This year, we are going to be spending our “romantic” holiday at the big yellow and blue store also known as Ikea. Luckily, it is exactly what we both want to do.

Happy Valentine’s Day!

P.S. Well, Ikea isn’t really that romantic, so I got her a heart shaped pizza too. Cory

Cory had his first outside soccer game in about 2 and a half months.
I watched and played sports photographer/spectator.
Cory played awesomely! Of course, there is always room for improvement but… WHO CARES!
He was out there doing something that he loves.

His joy for the game came through when he was out on the field or standing on the sidelines.
It was special to be a part of the game with him.

Heck, I was proud of myself for being able to recognize when people where fouled or stupid calls on the refs part. I still can’t tell when people are offsides. I was able to pick out when people are doing different moves with their feet. Of course, I can’t recall when the special foot moves are at this point in the day. Oh well. *shrug*

Cory was extremely happy all day on Sunday. You could tell because he smiled for the camera versus a scowl.
I can’t help it that I think he’s cute. *grin*
